Vastu House is a high-end 'modernist style' residence project set amist the tranquil landscapes of Assam. The brief was to create a natural setting for the house alluding to the natural landscapes of the area and a planting palette with which the dynamisms of nature can be celebrated giving the house a fresh new identity with each blooming in every season.  A thorough research about the native and naturalised species of trees, shrubs and grasses was done from the area study as well as the local folk songs and stories which sang the essesnce of the place. Uploaded here is a first taste of landscape at 'Vastu House'. Its essence and identity, however, is still evolving.
