Claridges Bharatpur was a very unique project done at  Design Cell. The Bharatpur Palace has serene precincts and the site is dotted with many old and ancient structures. A sensitive landscape development was prepared to integrate the existing heritage structures and the newly planned tourist residences and other hospitality areas. A careful mapping of surface runoff was done since the site included major watershed area of adjacent Govardhan Nala. This subsequently contributed to planning of key landscape elements like detention ponds and stepped kunds. The overall circulation was woven all around the site picking clues for providing proximity to the heritage structures scattered all along the site.
